Thank you Madame for writing. The bubonic plague was a bacterial plague not viral by the way.
The current AIDS/HIV theory suggests that HIV does not behave like every other virus. The theory in the article attempts to explain this anomaly which I believe is absurd.

Dr. Duesberg discovered retro-viruses. You may like to read his presentation http://www.duesberg.com/presentations/$bnAIDSQuiz.pdf . It is a nice summary.

I am writing this blog because I believe the study of AIDs is unscientific and downright farcical. Almost everyday there is a new headline describing another absurd theory with no supporting data.

Sadly the CDC has no credibiility. The current AIDS/HIV theory has enormous statistical holes. One hole is that AIDS is a disease that effects both males and females equally while it is primarily a gay mans disease in the US.

Each week I see at least 5 dumb articles with a new theory on AIDS/HIV and have finally decided to document them.

This is just a start and I plan to update as often as possible.

I have been familiar with the theory mentioned in the BBC article for several years. Several years ago, the science program NOVA did a one-hour special just on this subject, of who was more likely to have survived the bubonic plague (if you read the article closely). Read the article again, as it says they DON'T think it was something carried by the Romans, but a variant in the Empire that allowed people to survive the plague (yet at the same time increases susceptibility to AIDS). This is a well-respected theory and hardly absurd, if you follow scientific circles (as I do).
